Do it!! 😈. I use this forum as a grow log/grow help/community/helping others. It's nice to chat with like minded ppl who are passionate about the same thing. I was hesitant at first but I'm glad I did sign up.

Cheers to that. Nailed it! I feel like this community is super supportive and knowledgeable. And I love following the master growers on here…their methods, equipment, mindset, excitement on each grow even though its their hundredth…and they answer your questions mindfully. Good vibes in this forum.

So it's been about a week since the transplant. They all experienced some level of transplant shock, which was too be expected, since transplant went poorly. I should have wet the soil better or used smaller cups. 🤷♂️ Live and learn. They have all bounced back as you see. I think the Mac suffered the most. Leaves are small and has some red stems but still growing. At least the only auto, the tangie, seems to be doing well. The other 3 are photos so I'm not worried about them. They'll bounce back and be stronger than ever. I watered them for the first time since the transplant. I gave them a half dose of recharge and I'm starting a weekly foliar spray of cal mag. It's only day 15 since they sprouted so they've got a ways to go. Let's see what they look like in 15 days.

The GSC is just days away from chop. Literally like 3 more days or so. I just want to see those clear ones get cloudy....... But already got a decent amount of amber. Not sure if I should just harvest her already....I don't want too much amber....GSC is already couch locky enough without the help of amber trichomes. She looks nice. She smells AMAZING!! Really nice and sticky with all these minty terps. Think of peppermint with rosemary and citrus with some floral hints to give it sweetness and you got it. It's going to be a pleasure to smoke her! Out of 5 GSC seeds from ILGM, this seems to be the only winner.

The Tangie and Pineapple Express are doing great! Right behind them is the blue dream with the Mac just a tad behind. The cover crop is coming in nicely on the 2 pots that I planted it in. I think I may have won the battle with the gnats. Rather than do full dose I just do half dose of BTI mosquito bits in some water every 2 weeks and it seems to be doing the trick. I still have neem oil and natural oil spray to knock back adults but so far the traps are pretty clean.

The worm bin is doing great. Starting to really see what looks like final product. It's not just cardboard and Coco there's actually lots of casings in there too. Not only that but there probably billions of predator mites..... So many crawling around which means there's nematodes and protozoa ...... I'm going to have some amazing castings in the end! I'm trying to keep things more calcium and nitrogen rich. Not too many bananas. Lots of leaves and old bud from past failed grows that I didn't know what to do with. I crushed it dried it out completely and I've been giving it to them as carbon.

To keep myself busy and since I'm trying to be a bit more health conscious, I decided to brew my own kombucha. Paying $5 at the store per bottle, adds up really quick. For a small investment of $20 plus all the stuff I had around the house already, I got to brewing! So far it's coming along nicely! It's getting foamy! Really been a trip this past year learning about microbes. From books like Teaming With Microbes to Teaming with Fungi and podcasts like Mr. Grow it and Build a Soil, it's been fascinating to revisit a subject, I didn't care much about in college, with new eyes. Then I started growing mushrooms and it helped with my depression so I got even more interested in all sorts of fungi and bacteria, microbes, yeast (I even harvested wild yeast and baked my own sourdough bread), ethanol producing bacteria and let's not forget all the life that makes nutrients available for plants to thrive. That's all thanks to the living soil technique that I've come to really enjoy.

Just funky watching the kombucha and thinking yeah I'm gonna be drinking this at some point 😨. .... But I have..... Many times from the store and this is the process that they do to make it..... Just kinda gross to see it up close and personal and smell the funk as it happens. But really cool none the least and fermented stuff is super healthy for your gut. Healthy gut, healthy life!

Kombucha is really popular around here. All home made. I've only recently tried it the past few years a couple of times and liked it too. Haven't tried to make it yet.

What species of mushroom helped you? I am surprised at the amount of people around me here that are right into it and had discussions with many about micro-dosing.

Bluey I take lots of mushrooms from lions mane to Turkey tail, changa and cordyceps but it's the psilocybin containing ones that really helped me the most. I could either microdose daily or take a mild dose (1-2g) once a week and it's really made my depression and PTSD SUPER MANAGEABLE. I still have my bad days but like...... Even with the cancer...... I'm hopeful.... When before I was just hoping to die already. Like I got plans for stuff I hope to get done in the next 3 to 5 years....I started all these projects, the tea, the plants, the mushrooms, the photo lapse, the musical instruments, the singing. 2023 was THE BEST YEAR I've had in over a decade. The last time I had a good year like 2023 was probably 2010 to 2011. After that it was bad for a while and for a while I had given up and then I started reading about all the new work with mushrooms and....I figured what do I have to lose. So I invested $50 and got everything I needed to do it and it worked. It was just so easy. Especially since I'm also about cleanliness anyways, I've only had 2 jars that went moldy. Everything else was a fantastic success. I'm never growing penis envy again.....a microdose had me seeing trails. Too potent. Not pleasant even when you want to get high. Best strains IMO Tidal Wave and Treasure Coast. Though B+ seem to be really effective for depression and mild pain.

Shit I even got a bunch of different butter products and oils so I can make some medicated salves from the CBD plant. I never thought I would be making salves or any kind of cosmetic. Maybe 2024 is the year I finally become....🤩 self-employed🤩. I feel positive that maybe I can. I have the knowledge...I just never had the motivation but with the depression in check......I may be able to actually do it! 🤞

Had to give the GSC the boot. I needed the tent for the seedlings. They're on day 15 so it's time for full light, full attention and proper VPD so that we're can get some explosive growth in the next 15 days. Getting done pictures and views from all angles, I can see that she's pretty thicc! They're might be a good 2 to 3 oz on her there and it's looking nice and frosty. I'll probably chop her on Sunday. I need her out of the way. Glad she turned out better than what I was expecting.

I'm really HATING these fabric pots. At day 20 the plates should be 3x the size and it feels like they keep getting stunted every time I have to move them around. I always see the soil split and I'm like 10000% sure that's doing the same kind of root disturbing as a transplant would. Seems like for 2 weeks they've done NOTHING 😑

Moving plants around in flexible pots is a known problem because of the damage it can cause to the finest roots in the medium. Some say these roots are the most important for water/nute uptake.

They're in their final positions now so I'm not lifting or touching them going forward. That was my biggest fear with the flexible pots especially since I knew I was going to be moving stuff around..... Oh well. They're photos they'll be fine.

That's what they should be like..... The Mandarin and the UG on day 20 vs the current grow on day 20...... At this rate I'm probably just going to rip out that auto. I'm not gonna waste 3 months to get an 8th. The photos will recover and they'll be fine . . But at day 20 the tangie is so small ... It's probably gonna be a flop.....😔. Probably just gonna get 2 more earth boxes and just swap between grows. These fabric pots SUCK when you constantly have to move them around

Oh your getting impatient there. This is how it goes with fabric and soil, in another 2wks those will explode. Are they just sipping up from the bottom? I'd give them a kickstart and water deeply around the outer leaf area circle wise.

Is that it? I'm not too worried about the photos, they'll be fine. I'm done shifting pots and I put down the wicking ropes. Today I put water in the bases and letting it start the wicking. I'm more concerned about the Tangie auto.... You know how finicky said can be.... And the soil having those big splits probably isn't the best for root structure, but they'll get there. If I need to veg them 2 months, so be it. 🤷♂️ That's the beauty with photos; I can if I want to!

The GSC finally came down after 105 days...... Longest...... Auto...... Ever! My lord 🤣🤣. I was thinking she was never going to finish but man I love what I see and she's DENSE. The buds look a little fluffy in parts but when you give them a squeeze, there's zero give! Not to mention she's super terpy. A really good finish. Late but it's okay. Nobody was rushing her. Same with the girls growing now. A slow start..... But also to be fair average temps are around 72 in that room in a 24 hour period. Cooler temps when the lights are out slows stuff down. It's all good though. They all look healthy and I bet in the next 2 days they'll perk right up.

I also got a second camera so I'll be able to do time lapse of both tents and all 4 plants.... Can't wait!! That pineapple.....I can see it.... She's going to be a BEAST! And it's going to be amazing to be able to watch it all happen on camera. I'm also going to grow some mushrooms. My supply is about a year old and I want a fresh supply. So that's going to give me a chance to get some mushroom time lapse!!

Anyways. FUN TIME!!! Guess the weight!!!! How much GSC do you think I have there after dry and trim? 🤔⁉️🪴

Hopeful Guess.....3oz (at least 2.5oz). Anything above that would be icing.

Hint(maybe?) The whole plant was 15.5oz freshly chopped.

If it's going to loose about 90% of that....... Math says 1.5oz
.... But nobody likes math so hopefully I beat the odds lolol

I beat the odds!!! 2.54oz!!!! Wooooo. 13.5oz total from 4 plants! 😱😱. If I count the 2oz of trim I'm.5oz short of a whole POUND!!!! Thems good numbers!!!

Bluey I also have a 10lb box of organic beeswax. I got a box full of containers. I have 5oz of 1:1 CBD : THC flower. I'm just not sure what to use as the carrier oil. Olive, coconut or MCT oil? 🤔. If anyone's got any suggestions or experience .... Maybe I'll maybe a separate thread for this specific task/need. The other other route is make RSO oil and then just incorporate that into the salve recipe rather than exacting the flower into a carrier oil. Maybe I'll try all 3 different methods. IDK yet. But it will have most of these ingredients with probably peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary and tumeric oils. I been researching this crap for 3 months now and I still can't decide how I wanna do it but at least I got my ingredients down. 😅

Another week down!
Today is day 26.

Most have bounced back from that horrible transplant. Others have not. The pineapple Express is the strongest by far. The Tangie is right behind her. I even saw the first V-shaped petals on the Tangie o'Matic. That means she's going to start doing the stretch and hopefully get much taller. She's got 5 nodes of growth but the spacing between the nodes is short. If she starts stretching in the next 5 then I'll probably put the pineapple on 12 hours. This was about the size of the CBD plant and she turned into a monster.

The blue dream has recovered and she's looking healthy and growing well. The MAC is having the hardest time. She was the weakest of the seedlings and after that rough transplant, she has been slow to recover. Just look at the purple leaves. I know it gets a bit cool in the room with the lights off ... The lowest at 67-68 but I try to keep it around 69-70.....with the lights on around 74-76. I don't want too much of a temp difference but the 2x3 has exterior facing walls on 2 sides so it's always a bit cooler or warmer in that corner. The new leaves are looking better. I think the others turned purple because of that transplant shock. She'll bounce back I hope. These 2 will probably get 2 more weeks before I flip to bloom .... Unless they do some serious growing in the next 5 days. I'm going to do a foliar spray on Sunday.

I'll have last week's video lapse up probably Monday morning. I have to do tomorrow night before I can do the weekly comp. Starting next week, I have the camera mounted in the center so that both plants are equally visible. I don't like this side view. I also got some oyster mushrooms. Gonna do my first mushroom time lapse. I just got an indoor greenhouse that I'm going to turn into a Martha tent for my mushroom growing. My friend so graciously got me another T6 inline fan so I'm going to swap out the T4 on the 2x3 with the T6 and use the T4 for the Martha tent/lung room climate control since it's got the 69pro controller. That environment is going to be super dialed in.

The GSC is only a few days away from trimming and bagging. The Mandarin and UG are only 4 days away from a month long cure plus 10 days of drying. I can't wait to try it!

Awsome perpetural growing. I use to do this and had a wonderful supply in my cubboard. I needed to take some time off for about a year doing indoor. I'm back into the groove now and love it, such a great hobby and rewarding. Have a great day, keep it up

I made a tripod with some old curtain rods. The ends usually have those pressure fit ornaments. I unscrewed those and just attached them to some wood that I pressure fit back into the ends with some hot glue. Attached the camera mount to another pressure fit piece and attached the tripod to my SCRoG net pole. No more side shots. And I'll be able to put the camera back in exactly the same spot and angle each time so the videos won't be so jumpy.

You can see how much they've growing in just 7 days. Going forward, I'm going to have the camera center mounted and both plants will be visible from the center. It will make for better visibility than the side angle.

A T6 inline fan and Martha tent showed up at my house. I'm going to swap out the T4 with the T6 on the 2x3 tent and I'm going to use the T4 for my mushroom tent. Since I don't really need to worry too much about the climate in the mushroom tent, I'm going to use the 69 Pro controller that it came with to control the climate in my Lung Room. I just need to get one more of those flip switches. It's going to control the heating and cooling as well as the humidity. Sadly I can't use the controller to control the Govee Dehumidifier...... It doesn't have an auto on feature. .... But it's a great dehumidifier that only uses 180w and it pulls the humidity from my whole entire studio. It's a workhorse for sure!. I have my climate wall. I could easily see my CO2 my temperatures my humidities everything. This little hobby room is becoming a well-oiled machine!

Just finished trimming the GSC. I was going to wait another day but with lots of rain coming in the next few days, I trimmed and bagged today. Ended up with 2.54oz or 72g of some nice looking flower! It smells pretty good and looks pretty good.

Taking the GSC and adding her to the other 3 plants gives me a total of 14oz!!!!!! There was about 2oz of trim...... However you wanna add it up because I'm making edibles with the trim, off of 4 plants I almost got 1 whole pound!!!!
I'm just over the moon with the results of this past grow! By the looks of things, the current grow is shaping up to be just as good, if not better!

The EarthBox's are winners!! Fantastic system for anyone... Beginner or expert. The fabric pots and the wicking bases I'm using currently are working just as well. 4 days ago I poured a gallon of water in each base and today I had to add more. As they grow in sure I'll be filling every 2 days or so. I topped the pineapple Express today. I also did some LST on her as well as the tangie. The blue dream is getting huge. She's almost reached the edge of the pot. The MAC is catching up too. A few more days and she'll be good. Maybe 2 more weeks and I'll flip to flower. Man time flies!

TRY AND STOP ME NOW!!!!

That is the theme of the week. In the past 5 days, the pineapple, tangie and blue dream just EXPLODED!! Especially that blue dream. She was so small just 5 days ago and now her leaves are past the flower pot. The Gaia green nutrients seem to be doing pretty well. The MAC is still sluggish. She's picking up for sure but she's the smallest of the bunch .
I've been foliar spraying all of them 2x a week with cal-mag/yucca mix. Not that they need it but I don't want the nutes to go to waste. I spent money on them so I'm going to slowly use them all up.

Pineapple Express..... Like I predicted, she's a beastie.... She's going to be a big girl🥰. Super healthy, growing like crazy in that Coots mix that was cooking since November. She's living it. She's been water only. I suspect I won't need much else. I have started with some LST before the branches get so thick that they snap like they did on the Mandarin.

The Tangie is starting to flower. You can see petals all over the place. She's starting to stretch as well. I'm going to be putting up the SCRoG net up this week. I'm not going to weave them but I will use it as a guide. I have started to LST her as well. I don't want one big cola so because she started stretching, I started to 90°bend the top. This will eventually give me a nice even canopy. I've done it in the past with great success. Since topping autos is a bad idea, the 90 bend is the best method imo

MAC is still behind. She's grown a lot this week but she's still the runt of the litter. The new leaves look healthy but there's weird growth and it's slow. I have faith in her though. Might just be a bad seed because ......

The Blue Dream...... Man she came out of left field!! She was tiny at the beginning of the week and in 5 days she almost tripled in size!!! She is one happy grower!

Since they're getting so big so fast and I only have limited amount of space, I'm flipping to 12hr lighting. That means I'll need to adjust the lights to get proper DLI for the Tangie. The rest will get plenty adjustment as they stretch.

Man times goes by so fast.....I can't Believe it's already time to flower.....I just only opened the Mandarin and the UG and........omgl I never had weed this good before in my whole entire life!! The Mandarin is supposed to taste like oranges but mine tastes more like grape candy. And the UG is like if you took cherries and pureed then I'm some jet fuel......holy hell is she gassy. Both are such different flavors. I think I like the UG more tbh. Who would have guessed the freebie would be so 🔥🔥

Also prepping to start some oyster mushrooms and a fresh batch of tidal wave and treasure Coast strains. I also have a camera for those. I'll be doing a time lapse on them as well. It's so cool seeing my plants growing, it's going to be awesome seeing the mushrooms a well.

This was I can keep up the integrity of my hermit lifestyle and not have ppl interrupting me and my work ...... *Sighs*. Heaven..... And they're giving away free castles in France Italy England..... But only if you agree to repair and turn the castles into like tourist attractions for the country then they'll give you the castle in the land for free..... Had a busy night. Flipped to bloom today so I wanted to get the net up. I need some more mop handles or wooden dowels for the 2x3. For now it will do.

I also got the rye berries soaking for my grain spawn jars and I got a fun oyster mushroom kit. I don't remember the taste of them. I know I could have just bought some, but I wanted the time lapse. Oysters always make for some great time lapse videos. My drip tray for the Martha tent came in so it's officially ready for action!! And not a moment to soon

My kombucha came out super tangy, yeasty and vinegary with a tail of alcohol. Absolutely perfect ... Even the plain one tastes great but I love the pineapple one. I need some passion fruit pulp.....OMG passion fruit kombucha... Probably delicious!
