    Ready, Set, Go???

I'm always confused when it's ready to harvest. I know the trichomes are suppose to be milky but they look like half and half to me. Here's a few pics although they're not that great. What do you think?

That's what confuses me some, I read that if you wait until their amber it's too late but then I hear that it's OK...hmmmmm

TopThumb, general rule is cloudy trichomes with about 20% amber. But as others have noted, there is a "season to taste" component to it. Like wine, you can have "Late Harvest" or "Early Harvest" or just plain follow the 20% rule however you want to apply it.

That would be a very psychoactive piece of flower im looking at. Im thinking to early yet, but aint nothing wrong in trying one little bud that aint going to make it big anyways. fire one up, might like it.

Bluey, I have 3 Shiskaberry and a Mac. The plants seem to be healthy but for some reason this year they look more like Charlie Brown Xmas trees(not a lot of limbs) but what there is they are loaded. Here's one pic and I can take more if you want.

What I'm seeing in your pics is your grow is looking great!

You've shown us mid to lower buds on her. They look fine for those on a plant that has quite a bit to go...more than a month.

Where are you based and when did you plant?

There is much comparison and discussion on outdoor grows on other outdoor grow threads here. Have a read a good look at the pics around harvest times, when to harvest early and cut losses, pests, weather, etc.

Let me take some pics of the upper portions of the plants just for reference. I'm in S. Oregon and I planted these clones about 2 weeks after Mothers day. My only concerns right now are that the temps are starting to drop plus we are starting to get rain at least a couple days a week now or more. I'm keeping them covered to stay dry but they're still getting the cold temps at night averaging mid 40's.

Yo neighbor i'm in Roseburg. Yes i've got those in tents and under a patio right now. Gonna shift the plants around today and move the 2 biggest photos into the greenhouse tent and the others into the harvest area today. Mine were grown from seed and i keep mine under 6ft. Got a sister who lives in Central Point

I forgot all about this girl, I was told it was a G. Cake or something like that. It's the smallest of them all and most of the leaves are turning purple. Here's a few pics of the buds.

Here's a pic of the leaves. The pic doesn't do the color justice, they are actually purple.
