    Small Dehumidifier

Can you recommend a good reasonably priced dehumidifier?

I've used this 30 pint Inofia for a few years with great results. I use the supplied hose to drain into a five gallon bucket as I remove 1.5-2.5 gallon a day. As backup, I also purchased the Govee hygrometer/thermometer which gives me precise, real time Temp-RH-Dew Point and VPD to let me know what range to keep my plant healthy. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice! My grow tent is only 2’x2’ so I need something smaller.

Dehumidify the room that the tent is in. The environment in the tent will follow soon after. Plus you will have more room for plants.

...... and putting it in the room the tent is in will keep the tent humidity more stable. I have a dehumidifier in my grow room and the RH swings quite a bit until I need to get it right down, only then does it become stable. Not that it is an issue though.

Ahhh thank you. I was under the impression that the dehumidifier had to be placed in the tent.

It can sir but you have a 2x2 tent. The dehumidifier would have to be small and the smaller ones don't remove enough fast enough to be efficient. For what they are the small ones are very expensive for the amount of water they remove. With a couple of plants in a 2x2 tent with gallons of wet soil the humidity will be high for a while.

Calculate how much water per day you are feeding them then go with a dehumidifier rated at at least double that, preferably more. I was feeding my plants in my grow room about 3gal/day. I was using a 13gal/day dehumidifier plus AC and that worked really well. Probably overkill but it worked.
