    Should I trim more leaves?

My two plants are in the flowering stage. Wondering if I should de-foliate more?

    Looks good man!

Yes you should. Remove all leaves that aren't getting light. Especially in the center of the plant. You should be able to see through the⁸ plant at this stage.

Thanks! This is my first independent grow so having a yield would be a success but I'm also trying to learn the growing techniques without completely botching the whole grow.

If you have never defoliated before, be careful. It's easy to fuck up and kill you plant. But the payout is worth it.

So far I've just trimmed all the larger fan leaves. What else should I look out for?

Remove any old crinkled up leaves at the bottom of the plant as well as buds that are never going to amount to anything, Remove any large leaves that are covering or heavily shading bud sites. Start at the top of each branch and work down. Leave a "crown" of large leaves at the top of each branch. Do not remove any leaves that are not covering buds. Don't get carried away. I always do my plants in stages so that I can observe the effects of my trimming.

Shes going to pop now. Looks like light to all sides of all buds. Far out.

It's either going to fall over and die or you nailed it and it will produce massive nugs.

You removed a lot of leaf, pretty much all of it...it might work well, it might not.

                🤞

I’d say you took too many leaves off

I'd say about 3. there are still a fair amount of leaves on there the angle makes it look less. i trimmed the larger ones in order to make sure all the kolas are getting light

Just remember that it’s the leaves that make your buds grow. The plant uses them to absorb the energy it needs and distributes where it’s needed
