A nice experiment for me as a noob came about as one of the seedlings had only one cotyledon. What absolutely didn’t happen was me getting impatient in germination, taking its little hat off myself to reveal the leaves, then accidentally taking one of the cotyledons leaves off with its hat. Anyway…worked out q
uite well as I’m now persisting with both plants and seeing what happens. So both plants are in the pic, one looking good, one underdeveloped and yellow tips forming…
I started feeding today coming up to 3 weeks old. Using Canna professional soil mix (never again for seedlings, personal preference) I realised too late it was nitrogen rich. Another nice cock up but I think the strong one has pulled through it just about. Abit touch and go at the very start tho. Lovely noticeable growth everyday even with the slightly damaged one. Wel see what happens there. I’m using rain water at present and will continue with this on this grow. Been very sloppy with PH levels which could bite me in the arse soon but wel see. I will be going full organic next grow but I think one of these is at least healthy. Just leaving her get used to the feed abit before I crank the lights up to 80%. My thoughts were not too shock it too much as I transplanted into her final grow pot today,
