I get the sentiment of growing becoming a J-O-B which is why I'm taking some time off from full-time growing after the current crop is in jars. Even getting the buds cut down, trimmed and jarred became a chore once I achieved a measure of proficiency at growing.

Still, I'm at the place where growing is as easy as it's ever been. I've got a helluva lot of seed (mostly homemade regular plus some autos from a trade) so I'm not buying from Europe every six months or so. I've got a worm bin that turns kitchen waste into some bitchin' compost. I'm growing in living soil so there's a lot of wiggle room for what is added to the soil (usually only more worm compost and trimmed fan leaves once the grow is going). There are live worms in the soil so the plants constantly get fresh castings. I don't worry about adjusting pH. I just let water sit for 24 hours with an airstone and then add some wetting agent, aloe or coconut extract. I have Niwas automating the temps and RH and light cycle in two of the tents so the plants in the 4x4 tents produce well every time.
