Brown dry curling up leaves 5th week flowering

    Hi guys
it's my first ever grow. A mate started wit me and then went awol. He was the experience one.
I was doing okay through vegging. But since maybe 3rd 4th and now 5th week flowering. The leaves are turning brown and curling up they are brittle. Dead I'd say. I'd appreciate any advice that might help save these . Or just help me not mess up on the next ones I've just put into flower last week.
thanks in advance for any help

What do you mean put into flower last week? You said before that you had problems for the 3rd, 4th, and now 5th. Some pics of the plant in regular light would help. Whole plant pics too.

Is it the whole plant or just some of it? I had similar issues with several of my autos which was caused by keeping them in solo cups too long and their roots stopped growing, plus had used clear cups which didnt help either as the roots bunched up at bottom. End result the plant kept growing but the roots wouldnt despite being transplanted too late into gallon pots so as the plant grew the roots were no longer able to support it and had to cut my losses early.

Tough lesson to learn there Lord-Xanthor. Gots to remember that autos don't like to be transplanted.

I actually didn't even know that. I had assumed it was because I kept them in cups too long that the roots stopped growing. As it was only the Autos this happened to, I should make note to plant them in pots instead if I should ever choose to get another auto strain again.

Ok. Just normal light would work.

How lame for someone to get you started growing then abandon you! Could you post a picture of the whole plant in regular light in the setup? Is it happening to the leaves closest to the light? Have you been checking the pH? (the pH being too high or too low is the number one cause for nutrient deficiencies) Overall it looks like the buds themselves are developing, despite the problems!

I prefer using your website for help and information to do my own grow. Even though its legal by me, I seen what happens when you get outsiders trying to help. Had a neighbor years back who started his own grow and made the mistake of letting someone help him who basically took over not letting my friend do what he wanted with his plants, then when people started coming to his home at all hours, he then put an end to it by tossing every plant he had into a mulcher, dismantled his shed and told his buddy to find his own place to run a business because he sure as heck wasn't going to allow this guy to lose his home. Once people saw the shed was gone, they quickly stopped showing up and he ended up buying from dispensaries before he moved himself.
