A small bit of advice. The top of my plant seems to be ready for harvest but half way down there is no colour at all on the tendrils. Should I wait??

No no please don't take anything off yet. You have weeks to go don't let someone tell you to harvest, those will get 2-3x's larger and better buzz.

Absolutely! Leave it all alone and calm down. You are at a minimum of three weeks out.

looks good. Its getting a little frosty on top. It will or should cover itself in trichome's, that over time will turn amber color. Watch the white pistils hairs turn orange and curl back onto themselves. When about 90% have done this take a jewelers loop and look at the trichome's. They should be cloudy to amber. Depending on how sedative you want It will determine the color of the trichome's. Time and patience weigh alot now.
