Got these 34 plants Sea of Greening gambling style with bagseeds... Were planning on switching tomorrow; but as of todays inspection I noticed both male and female plants. They are 4 weeks today. Is this early showing sex while light is on 24/7 a sign of herming? Could these bagseeds parrents been a nice autoflower lady of strain X propagating with male photo plant strain Y producing autoflower seeds?

Autoflowering strain no doubt. Only ruderalis from Kazakhstan and Russia like country's have this "mutation" when red and far red phytochromes don't dictate flowering but age does. This trait has been introduced into the cannabis word and you can find it in a bagseed from an autoflowering strain. Depending on the "stability" of he strain this will happend 100% of the time or at least the vast majority of times. Just as you'd expect your sour diesel seeds to inherit the smell and potency from their parents

If they are autos keep the lights on like you are doing now.

Lot of people argue about this but I think its personal. The more light the more the growth and yield. But this is not exactly linear. Meaning as you approach 24/0 the yield increase per hour of light decreases. So changing from 16/8 to 18/6 is two hour that gonna have huge impact on yield and speed. But from 22/2 to 24/0 it's not that productive yet both cost about the same (electricity) so if you can you can keep the lights on all the time. If you don't want your electric bill to raise too much and fits your schedule I would recommend 18/6 or 20/4. Again its totally a personal choice and don't listen to anyone that tries to convince you what they do is the correct thing

One other thing to keep in consideration is how strong ur lights are and how far they are if there strong and closer u dnt need a longer time that there on because the plants get more umoles than if the light is far away, nut u also don't wanna have ur lights to close and stress or burn ur plants also indicas need less light than sativas

As there is no way of knowing that all seeds are autos or the same strains, 12/12 would be the safe way?
