This is my second grow, recently I have had too much info about lights. My first grow I had three plants with three lights, everything turned out good. This time I have 3 & 3 again, been told too much light hurts plants, what ya;ll think.

Best thing to do when considering a light is to first think about your grow space then what you’re growing - number of plants, type of strain, what size pot ect ect
1g per watt from my tent is the goal every grow. From there I decide how many plants I’m going to grow and in what size pot to reach my goal. For instance, 2 autos under a 400w light in 3 gallon pots is wasted energy imo bc you’re not coming close to 400g that grow. Yet 2 high producing photo strains properly trained with a long veg will get you 400g plus under 400w’s. Hope that helps

Too much light is the best problem to have as long as you have a dimmer switch though raising and lowering the lights works too. There are threads here that say brighter and higher gives more even lighting at the canopy. Multiple lights can also even out the bright spots in the middle of each one of them. As homegrown said, it doesn't sound like your lights need fixing.
I'm curious though, how bright are your lights?Drying: Strawberry Cough photo started indoors Apr 27. Moved outdoors June 25. Harvested October 8.
