    Net pots

I am going to try grow with hydroponics. I have used a small bucket with a pump inside for clones with near 100% success.

I am asking for help on my setup to grow. I will be using 5 gallon buckets with a air stones in the bottom running bubbles 24/7 and a net pot in the lids. For growing my cannabis what size net pots will I need? What size clay pellets should I buy?
should this type of system work or should I set up a pump system to spray the pots from below?.

morning PopPop..... I have a very simple DWC setup....I use air stones only in a single reservoir/tote that I change out the nutrients at certain intervals

Howdy PopPop67, I have been using a 'Bubble Phonics' style hydroponic system for 12 grows and I have had good results with it. Basically, I run two ten-gallon totes (using only six gallons) with six holes, five of them are for 3 3/4-inch net pots and the other one is for an ice bottle and filling. I keep four air stones (2-inch diameter by 4 inch long) going 24/7. the water pump irrigates the plants and trains the roots to grow down into the reservoir and may be turned off after the roots get established down into the reservoir, be sure to keep an air gap between the net pots and thee top of the water level (1 1/2 to 2 inches). I change out the ice bottles as needed to keep the water temperature between 62° and 70° F). I feed the nutrients by the schedule from the manufacturer (GH Maxi Grow and Maxi Bloom, with supplements) at the start of the week and top off the reservoirs at mid-week with pH'ed water.
This 'system' has worked well for me, and I have had good yields in both weight and quality.
      Good luck with Your grow.
