    Dense buds

Why are my buds a bit more airy than the dispensary weed ??? The strain is Power Nap and the buds I got from the dispensery were very dense. Mine were a little bit softer. Which may be causing a potency issue

That's a great question and one that I still cannot answer. I do not know how you grow or how many grows you have done but I can say two things:
    1. It's all about strain. What you grew may well be different than the dispensary's but I wouldn't stress about it.
    2. Experience and time. My current grows are light years better than my initial ones,
Current Grow: 1 Purple Haze, 1 Bay Burger, 1 11 Roses Photoperiods
    5 gallon cloth pots
    30"x30"x60" tent
    Spider Farmer SE3000
    Coco Pearlite mix

Genetics and good lights and environment are the key to tight buds but dispensary bud is often vacuum sealed to tighten them up. Not sure why people want them hard as rocks. Burns like shit.

Corporate grows use intense lighting supplemented by carbon dioxide in perfectly regulated and sealed rooms. Very difficult to do that in the home environment. They also vacuum crush them. And stain plays a role. Embrace the airy as artisanal, I think the corporate weed is far far too dense.

There are several factors that can affect the density of cannabis buds, including genetics, growing conditions, and harvesting and curing methods. If your buds are less dense than the ones you got from the dispensary, it could be due to any of these factors. Here are some possibilities:
              1. Genetics: Different strains of cannabis can produce buds with varying levels of density. It's possible that the Power Nap strain you grew simply produces less dense buds than the one sold at the dispensary.
              2. Growing conditions: The environment in which the plant is grown can also affect the density of the buds. Factors such as temperature, humidity, light, and nutrient levels can all impact how dense the buds become. If you didn't provide optimal growing conditions, this could be the reason for the difference in density.
              3. Harvesting and curing: The timing and method of harvesting, as well as the curing process, can also affect the density of the buds. If the buds were harvested too early or not cured properly, they may not have reached their full density potential.

In terms of potency, the density of the buds may not be the sole determining factor. Other factors, such as the cannabinoid and terpene profiles, can also impact the potency and effects of the cannabis.
