Inuart88 scroll down in this tutorial to the part on swamp coolers. i haven't used one but am planning on trying one out when my temps hit the hundys this summer... there's also a link in the tutorial to a journal/grow of someone using one.

Learn how to control humidity in the cannabis grow room to get faster growth and better yields!

I read an article from the parent company Surna, you may know the company better is I just called them by their other name "Hydro Innovations" who stated "Water Chilled Cooling Systems can save up to 30% more on climate control costs" they have a really great article titled "Considering your Regional Climate when Choosing Equipment for Cannabis Cultivation". Which does bring out the important fact so many people seem to overlook, swamp coolers for example will work in some climates based on region than another, where an AC unit will work in other climates better than others, all based off from the humidity of the area you are trying to cool. All in all at the end of the day Surna is a company whose sole thing is building and designing equipment specifically to the cannabis grower from the closer growers to the commercial growers, and reading what they had to say about cooling and humidity helped me, perhaps it will help you as well.

The only way to become the a good at anything is to read about it and learn all you can about it, and if it's something you love why not become an expert in it? The best place for anyone to start is at the beginning and make sure we didn't overlook anything, so let's go back to the basics.
