Ha, that can happen, even or should I say especially within our own species! 🤣 maybe I’ll try the DWC next time around and see how it goes. Will have to check some tutorials on DWC. Thanks.

I just topped my tank up this morning. Last time I filled it was last week and the pH was 6.07, this morning before topping it up it was 6.2. Back down now to 6.
I don't use an air stone as I am reliably informed it throws the pH out but it does get mixed really really well in the tank. Growing in coco here.

Those are interesting comments about the air stones....when I first started I was using an air injection system with coco and had problems keeping my ph below 6.2. Maybe it was the air? Never thought of that but when I changed to just regular containers that problem went away and nothing else had changed. I have noticed that if I leave my pen out it usually reads about 7.5 before I test the nutrients. Hmmmm...

Also, I always let the water sit for 15-30 minutes before I mix the nutrients in because all the bubbles throw the PH off, must be the oxygen content...but I never thought the same thing could happen with the air injection.

ZigZag yes. Using an airstone will push up your pH....quite a lot over time. I am away from my grow a week at a time and can't afford to get it to 5.8 and come back and find it's 6.5..just won't work for anyone..
I use a rather large mixing paddle in the end of a powerful drill to mix the additives in a 240ltr tank that I only half fill and it saturates the mix with dissolved air also...no point adding more air.
