Hello again 🙏❤️ Im about a week or so before the little gems will be ready for a transplant into their final home and i want to discuss and clear some questions with you, guys and gals.
For my final pots ill be using 15l textile pots, that ill fill with Biobizz light mix. This from previous experience will require around 20+-2 l of actual soil to be filled, without me compressing the substrate in any way. Before adding the soil into the pots i generally moisten it and thoroughly mix it with around 1.5-2 l ot dechlorinated water. In this initial water mix ill add 1ml/l ot Voodoo juice and a tea spoon of molasses and will ph’ed the water to 6.5 ph. (please critique this technique). As a bedding i plan ot using chicken manure (which nutrition value u can see in the pic) and add 12 pellets in each bucket. This equals exactly 6 grams of manure in each pot. My logic here is as follows - in the description of the manure they stated that for indoor growing, 60-120 g/m2 is required. Im not sure, how much of a difference the volume makes, but since my space is 1.44 m2 and ill be using around 1.2 m2 of actual pots (ill veg 12 15l pots in the tent), i assumed that 70 g of manure will be enough. Im using the minimum requirements that they labeled here. (please critique this also). I also plan ot adding a few pieces of banana peels as bedding, but im not sure the quantity of this (please critique and give your estimations). I have diatomaceous earth on hand and was thinking about adding it the the soil mix as an amendment, but im not sure if this is a good idea, nor how much to add considering the soil volume in each pot (please critique and give your suggestions). After the little ones got established (fingers crossed they do), ill only use the chicken manure as a tea and this will be my only fertilizer, since no further expenses are possible at that point. The Voodoo juice will be used for the first 2 weeks or until establishment and for the first two weeks after the flowering switch. I plan on using the manure tea sparingly, only when needed or every 3rd to 4th watering. The production will consist ot 1.5-2 grams of manure left in 1l. dechlorinated water for 3 days and then diluted in a ratio of 1/10 with dechlorinated tap water and then ph’ed to 6.5-6.6 ph. (please critique this and give me your opinions on the amount of manure i should dissolve). This will continue till the end of the third week, after i switch them to flower (i really hope they do get there) after which ill start adding banana peel tea with molasses, again every 3rd to 4th watering (critique will be very welcome here also). For the flowering ill use my second room, so 6 plants in each 1.44 m2 of space. Both the vegetation and flowering will be under 600w hps lamps. Im abit scared of gnats, so thorough cleaning of the rooms, the space in where the rooms are and the whole house will be done regularly, plus ill use the diatomaceous earth as a top soil if needed (really hope this dont happen). Since the post got quite lengthy i dont want to bore u any further, so all remaining questions that i have will be in future posts. I really want to thank all who will take their time and will respond. Your help is much, much appreciated 🙏❤️
