    Lighting

Hi everyone, I have a single Green Crack plant that just completed her first week of flower. My grow space is a spare closet. She is in a 7 gal cloth pot soil in Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. I am only using Coast of Maine's nutes, now their organic Buds and Blooms. The light is Flora Gear S4 which is 400w. The plant itself is just a touch under 4 feet. This is the tallest I've EVER grown a plant with my setup and I am concerned that this light will NOT be enough for the entire flower stage. SHOULD I be concerned? What can I do to supplement light?

    * sorry no pics ( actually, its the plant in the holiday post I put up the other day lol

So the stretch has started? Depending on the distance from light to canopy you should be OK and not to worry. You'll just need to watch the stretch cause you already know they can go crazy, especially if the conditions are good. I'm not familiar with that light but if it's drawing 400w from the wall then that's enough for that plant depending on the size of the grow space. What's the SF of your closet? I have 350w in a 3x3 and grow two plants at a time, no problem.

Hi. I haven't noticed any significant stretch yet. She's maybe grown 2" since I flipped her but nothing crazy. Plant is staked right now and I'm been bending some branches so far.

      Grow space (extra closet is 8 1/2' tall x 71/2' wide x 18" deep....I think that's like 10.5 sf?

When I got the light and told the guy at shop what space I had he told me it should be enough for 2 plants

You should be good as far as the light goes. Maintain the recommended distance from light to canopy. It's the height you'll need to watch as generally she'll probably add about half her current height during the stretch. I've not staked out a plant before so the stretch may be a bit different for you. But it's still about distance to canopy, right? Can you dim your light? If you can, dim it if you find yourself running out of space. The intensity should not affect the spectrum. And if it gets too tall you can bend some more stems or super-crop it.
