Hello my Friends, I jarred up 10 oz on July 17, 2022, 1oz per jar, they all have 58% humidity packs. I gave a jar to my friend last week, and he said when he broke open a bud, he noticed some white fuzz on the inside. nothing noticeable on the outside. i store the jars in a cool dark room. i cure them for one month, then add the humidity pack, and don't open the jars after that.never had a problem in the past. anybody ever have this issue. any thoughts on why it happened, and how to prevent it from happening in the future?

Well i've had humidity too high when i've opened fresh cured buds. I'll empty them in a brown paper bag seal it up and allow to slow dry for a day feel it. You really need to burp those jars and not ignore how they feel.Smoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet

The other possibility is that the jars are not properly sealed...hence the reason the best jar is a" canning" jar (2 piece lids). They are specifically designed to seal tighter than a frog's ass...I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

I had really big nice colas last harvest, I thought, wow, what dense colas and so heavy... and then when curing an unusual strong smell every burp...
After some questions in here and I got good answers... bud rot, mold, had to incinerate half the harvest!
Colas full of water probably.
Half of it was OK and smelled wonderful, Northern Lights Auto, so I got lucky there.
Next time if and when I get big colas I will for shure break them up in smaller pieces when drying and curing.
Bought a Black Light LED at the time but didn't understand what I saw.
Maybe the wrong kind of LED. Any tips on what kind of LED I need, and if it really works to find mold on colas and buds?
