    Defoliation question??

    Hi,
FIrst time poster. I've got got this white widow bush a few weeks out from harvest. Would it be safe to defoliate at this point? I appreciate your advice.

My understanding is that defoliation is generally not needed outdoors due to the power and movement of the sun. That being said, if damp weather has set in and airflow is an issue to prevent mold/mildew, it might become necessary.
I also see a lot of white stigmas from this distance. Make sure not to harvest early. It'll be worth the wait!

I know it's got a few weeks yet. I snapped it's main stem at 1 month. Bandaged and this knot is like the whole plant is supercropped.. Just wondering if it hurts to trim the fan leaves now?
