Can I use a mix of the super soil concentrate and FFOF for the bottom 1/3 of my pot? I have read that this is possible, but I am seeking validation or more opinions as well. Further, what is recommended the ratio of the mix. I have 4 sacks of FFOF and a few lb of the concentrated super soil.. I have 4 pots with the cali super soil in the bottom third of each and want to get more pots ready, but I am finding a delay in getting the straight up California Super Soil. I am preparing girls to move into my buckets and don't want too many hang ups, so I want to be ready when they are.

I'm going to bump your question to the top and see if you get an answer; I'm a hydro grower myself... Just don't over-fertilize, I know that can be a problem...

I had 2 1/2 pounds of the concentrate and mixed 1 pound into the bottom 1/3 of 2 5gal canvass pots and hope for the best. Directions said 5 lbs for 25 gal so I figured 1 lb to 5 gallons so I came close I think.
I put 3 GSC seeds in plugs to germinate 3 days ago and they are almost 2 inches tall over night, I thought I had a couple of days to go, but I put 2 more GSC and a seed that came out of some dispensary smoke so I had to prepare 3 more pots. I thought maybe half would germinate but now I think I will have at least 6 and have to cull 1 or 2. The odd ball seed is either Amnesia or Poochie Love rated at 40% and 36% respectively. Thanks for movin me up.
My brother and I are old heads and doing this as a hobby in the basement as opposed to production or supply needs.

Satyaban I too am an old head, started growing in July of 2016--tomorrow is my 6-year anniversary as a matter of fact--and it's been a complete revelation. It's like I never really understood cannabis until I started cultivating it. The quality of what I produce at home is so far above anything I ever purchased in my life and I know that it's clean and properly handled and cured. I now see all usage as medicinal: this plant, properly cared for and respected, is indeed humans' best friend in the flora world.
Congrats on your germination rate!!! They are chomping at the bit!!
