    Going at it again

Howdy Y'all, I'm back again for another growing season that I started back in May and now I am 8 weeks and 3 days into vegging for my 1st 3 plants, 1 being "supposidly Blackberry Kush". I was given some seeds (smoke from a dispensary) from a friend. I started with 10 seeds but these were the only ones that made it, so I germinated 20 more seeds. Why so many? I think that some were not very strong to start with and did not get past breaking soil and no root developement. As of today, I did notice 2 plants are now starting to show sex (2 females so far). My others are 2 weeks behind and still vegging, need to be topped and transplanted.

So my dilemma is this, do I wait 2 more weeks to flip to flower (at 10 weeks of vegging? I usually flip at 8 weeks) so all plants can be harvested at the same time OR do I flip my 1st 3 plants and separate the others to another room? Decisions, decisions...

The "Blackberry Kush" is the plant on the right hand side. This is supposed to be an Indica strain (also an "auto flower") and right now it looks more Sativa, long and skinny as compared to short and fat. It may not be what is "supposed to be".

Howdy NuggetMan, your plants look healthy and happy! I can't about the 'flippin' time as I don't grow in soil, just hydro.
      Good luck with your grow.

Hydro, soil, whatever... there is still a light schedule for vegging or flower regardless. I can be incorrect as I don't do hydro, always soil indoors. I do know this: vegging longer than 8 weeks just creates a bigger bush to tend with and I am not outdoors that's why I go 8 weeks the norm for me indoors and they get big enough believe me! Thanks for the comment.

Yesterday I went ahead and transplanted the other plants I had going into 3-gallon pots, unfortunately I ran out of soil so only 5 of 6 got re-potted. I am waiting for my ordered soil to get here to finish the last plant, hopefully I get it by this coming Wednesday. But in the meantime, I moved these others into my room so I can get the other 3 started on the flip to flower because these are 2 weeks ahead, the ones moved to my room now have been topped, trimmed and should be ready to flip within 2 weeks. No 18/6 for these now due to the move they get 16/8 (minus 2 hours of daylight so by the time I flip it will work out just fine cause I do go to bed early to go to work early in the am!)

***UPDATE*** as of tomorrow these 3 girls will have gone thru 1 week of transitioning from vegging to flower. Hairs are starting to become more visible. You can see how much space just these 3 plants are taking up. I also may have to go in and thin out the lower parts that isn't much just taking up plant energy. Click image for larger version

Here are the others that are 2 weeks behind, in 3-gallon pots, topped and trimmed. Will be 6 weeks into vegging tomorrow... The plant on the right was just transplanted today. That's why you don't see water in the tray. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_20220716_095547.jpg Views:	0 Size:	4.09 MB ID:	570601

***UPDATE*** 7/23/2022. So today will mark 2 weeks and 2 days into flower for my 1st 3 girls and now becoming more obvious in budding. My others are 1 week away (at 7 weeks old) to moving back to my "grow room" and flip to flower. I'll have to do my LST training to these as the 2 new branches are starting to get long enough to bend. They were all watered today (1 flowering nutes) (1 vegging nutes). Got a ways to go yet!

***UPDATE*** continued; Now tomorrow will mark 8 weeks of vegging for my other 6 so these are ready to begin transition week as I will move them back into the other room, move the lights back as well, switch out the tubes from 6800k to 2700k, not doing this until later on this evening so I can get them in time with my other girls. ***UPDATE*** 08/07/2022. Today marks 1 month into flower for my 1st 3 girls and now starting to look more like buds. I had to start propping up branches and move them around a bit due to size. My others are now 1 week into transition and have not started to show anything yet but they have already began the stretching. Click image for larger version

It's just a small bedroom. The area I use is equal to a full or queen size bed approximately, I'm guesstimating but looks right to me. Yes, all 9 are in this area and it does get tight! Especially after I get the LST going so instead of up they grow outwards thus the more space they take. Can you imagine if you grew a plant this way but grew it horizontally???
