    Sugar leaf - close-up

Hello chaps. I'm on Day 70 with my purple auto and wondering when I should harvest her.
Here's a pic of a sugar leaf on topmost bud. Is she ready for the chop d'you reckon?

I would go with what is on the bud, going by a sugar leaf won't tell you much.

Why's that, Ace? Aren't the trychs on the sugar leaf representative of those on the bud?

You smoke the bud not the sugar leaves. Also, a lot of the THC on the leaves is older than that on the bud. That's why you see it on the leaves early in the plants flowering stage.

Guess I'll wait a while before harvesting then. Thanks for that info.

If you watch grow videos, most of the indica-dominant plants will have a yellow cast to their sugar leaves at harvest because of all the amber trichs there when the pros decide to chop.
