    Watering

I was wondering what people used for getting water to a place without a faucet being handy.

I'm in a basement with no water coming into it and use a hose called the Python used for aquariums but great for me getting 5 gallon jugs filled and you could syphon with it also for the dwc people. Hooked to a sink upstairs from my tent. Just wondering

I have my tent in the garage. Initially, I bought 10 gallon jugs of spring water. Now I just water straight from the jugs. About once ever 10 to 14 days, I make a run to the reverse osmosis machine outside out grocery store and fill them up. Each plant, I have 5, takes about 3/4 gal of water, so 4 jugs waters 5 plants. They need waters about every 3rd. I wouldn't want to carry 10 jugs of downstairs every time to water though. At least I can take them straight from car into the garage.

So you run a hose from your upstairs sink downstairs to your 5 gallon jugs? Props to you. What ever it takes to get the job done.

And then you siphon the water from the jugs to the plants?

The 5 gallons of water is in the tub and in 7 days I syphon the water out and add back 5 gallons to the tub.

25 gallons a week for two plants? It amazes me that everyones plants seem to need such varying amounts of water. I know there are a lot of variable to factor in, starting with climate where one lives.

Yes, I just realized I missed the part that you have DWC setup. Sorry for the confusing questions.

I use a big plastic garbage can. I fill my gal jug from it. That way I won't be putting very cold water from the faucet on my plants

I got a natural spring near by. I have 2 20 gal pools I use for reservoirs. Every Saturday I pump the water out of the pools. Each pool takes 3, 7 gal jugs. That's 6 all together lol. Then I carry it up a flight of steps. Dump it outside. Then load up to go to the spring. Then get back home and carry all 6 jugs back down a flight of steps then mix up my nutes and dump in. By the time I'm done I'm ready for a joint and sandwich lol
