    RDWC Brown Roots!!

Hey Guys. Got an RDWC setup going and am having a possible root/water issue.
    —————-
    Setup:
    5x5 Tent
    4 - 8 gal pots w 8 gal res
    396gph water pumps
Air stone in each plant site
    DIY Co2 generator (sugar/yeast/water/air stone)
    600w Fluence LED 6 bars
    2 fans
1 - 4” intake fan in top of tent
1 - 6” exhaust w carbon filter on ground inside the tent
    1/4 HP water chiller
4 air stones in res (added may 5th after co2 issue)
    ——————
started with 20/4 light sched but switched to 22/2 shortly after since we feel plants need sleep but since autos can go for 24 we thought to max it as much as possible with some time to recover
    Autoflowers
    Butterbean genetics
    3x grapecakewalker
1x bruce banner x blue (freebie)

AN Nutrients (this dose added May 2nd)
    Grow/Micro/Bloom - 50 ml
    Cal mag - 45 ml
    Sensizym - 40 ml
    Rhino Skin - 100 ml
    B52 - 30 ml

    :::RE EXHAUST ON::::
Tent Temp: 23-24 C (lights on, not sure of off as we havent been able to check yet)

    Humidity: 57% - 61%

Water Temp: 64 F (learned that 68 is more optimal so will be slowly inching the water chiller up to limit any shock, probably will do 66-67 though)

pH: fairly consistent at 5.6-5.8 but over 2-3 days had been drifting to around 6.0 - 6.1ish. Has been pretty good in terms of drift.

    EC/CF: 0.7/7

    PPM 500/700 Scales: 360/500

    ::OST EXHAUST:::
Just the air temps changed really, but the roots seemed to get a bit better, hard to say though (and unfortunately dont have pics of first day).

temp tent changed to about 22 - 23 C and humidity went down to about 50-55%. Nothing else really changed.

    —————-
Everything was going great, especially since we got the water chiller and fixed the temp problems we were having the plant had been going crazy. So we went for the second flush/nute change added in same nutes as the first one except increased the dose and introduced Rhino skin & Senzi.

During this flush we also added in the co2 generator (the 5 gal CAD tire bucket on the right) which we are pretty sure this is the reason for the browning due to the fact we didn't turn the intake/exhaust on right away. Right after we did there was a “yeasty” smell before (not bad, just like regular yeast smell) and it went away almost immediately.

I read that it might have got trapped too much in the tent (dont have anything to measure the co2 ppm yet) and got into the water cause its really only affecting the plant sites inside the tent and not as much or really at all the res. There is a slight brown color to the res but seems like normal nute mix color, and not as much of a residue on the pots at water level.

I also added 4 air stones into the res just today (May 5th, 2 days after brown roots found) to hopefully help combat it with some more dissolved o2.

Just seeing if anyone has some insight, seems to have gotten a bit better over the last day and a bit after turning on the fans and adding some 3% hydrogen peroxide to the res.
Appreciate any feedback anyone can give on the situation, or even any suggestions on other things to try to make the setup more optimal. Always down to learn more.
    Stay Blessed!
