Grease Monkey strain - anyone know much about it?

    Hey all,

I've got a couple of these ladies going at the moment, were clones I got off a mate for my first grow.
They were taken from a plant in early flower, so it's stems and growth tips all over the place. Topped and done a bit of basic LST to make the canopy flat, and some defoliation. I'm thinking about switching to 12/12 shortly.

Does anyone know much about Grease Monkey? In terms of yield/stretch etc?

Searches online don't allude too much info apart from it's got decent yields and is pungent as hell when it gets going.
I asked my mate what the flowering stretch is like and all I got was 'not too bad' (he's very basic in his approach, I wanna be more in-depth).

Canopy is about 8" tall at the moment, one is in a 5gal bag and one in a 3gal.
I'd also like to know if the smaller stems will support colas when they firm up or will I need to get a net or something?

    Thanks in advance 🤙🏼

Grease Monkey is a sweet, but gassy stimulating strain that will rock your world every time you indulge.

This strain can grow well indoors if you can provide the right climate. The plant has a very potent skunky and bitter smell. If you want to keep your operation discreet, make sure you have a proper ventilation system and a good exhaust fan to get rid of that smell. The plant can grow anywhere from 4-5 feet in height, depending on the available space. You will need to trim and prune your plants regularly to manage their growth efficiently. Grease Monkey has a relatively short flowering time of only 8 to 9 weeks. If grown well, it can yield as much as 18 ounces per square meter, making it well worth the effort.

Thanks ratvikyappu but that's just a cut and paste of info I'd already found online. I'm more interested in people who know our have grown the strain who can give me an idea on what kind of size/yield I can expect from the side of plant I have growing now.
I do appreciate the thought though.
