    Plant help

Hello my Freinds, I am in week 5 of flowering 4 master kush clones, and am having a problem. reading through plant problems here, i'm thinking a calcium issue? I water with tap water that has sit 48 hours, and ph to 6.5 - 6.6. i have not added any cal/mag. growing in soil and using foxfarm trio for nutes. tent is a 54" x 28" x 80" with two california lightworks solar extreme 250 LED lights. I have read that with LED light you need to add calcium in coco, but not necessaily in soil with top water. Any thoughts?

johnb1963 Check the ph. of your runoff, it should be close to what you put in. If not adjust up or down. And add some cal-mag.

Lol I love it. It’s always cal/mag deficiency or ph. Where is the balance of the nutrients? Or soil? Why is it that it’s always the same nutes, same soils, that cause problems but continue to end up in the grow room? Oh my bad wish I could help but all posts seem to have the same issue so the answer is most likely in every single post lol

johnb1963 have you checked your lights distance? I had similar issues with my blue dream that I am currently growing. If the light is to close the leafs show symptoms like yours. Sometimes letting them dry out to much will do that as well in my experience. I would look into those if all else is correct. I grow in soil with a good mix that includes everything a plant needs at least that’s what I think so far no issues unless it’s pest or environmental lights fans etc. that’s why I said if all else is correct in your grow look into the light distance and your watering. Hope that helps let me know if it does. Or not.

thanks Cali, i appreciate your feedback. i have been watering 1/2 gal. per plant every other day. and the pots are very light at that point. i'll been growing for 3 years, and still learning!

On that tap water, have you checked with the provider to see if they still use chlorine, or if they have moved on to chloramine (as mine has)? Chlorine will gas off, chloramine will not, but a little acid takes care of it, such as lemon juice (then let it set for 12 hours or so to stabilize)

thanks guys! my lights are 20" above the tops. the manufacture says 18" for veg, and 12" flower, but that was burning them up. as for my water, i let it sit for a min. 48 hours, but I will look into the chlorine issue. my tap water comes out around 8 0 - 8.2 PH, so I do use PH down. so I will start added that before I let the water rest. and retest before I use it.

The PH down will kill the chlorine/chloramine, so no problem, still I would want the info from the water provider as to what they use.
