    Training monstercropped clones??

    Hi all,

I've got 2 Grease Monkey clones I got off a pal, didn't realise until I rocked up to get them that he took them off early stage flowering plants. They were in jiffy pellets and had rooted out to the edges when I potted them in potting soil/perlite/Coco mulch (coir is scarce where I am currently).

So now 12 days later they're going mental, heaps of side branches and single blade leaves starting to grow out. Have been feeding them 2-part veg nutes twice a week, with water in between when needed.

Is it worth trying to train them? From the pics on the main site of Monstercropped clones it looks like it'll be a hell of a lot of branches to keep track of. I'd like to flower one and keep the other as a mother, but it seems like less hassle to take a few clones and keep the best one to make a mother than try and wrangle the crazy growth into something viable..?

Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated, this is new territory for me. 😳

Hello transcend i've done many clones from pre flowering to flowering plants and this is what they look like. Yes you will have a bit of a wild gals for 6-8wks by then it should start growing normal leaf 3,4,5 fingers leaf. It just takes a longer time to get back to looking like a normal plant this takes time and patience lots of it. Be sure and keep them on 18/6 long long hrs in veg. That's all for now, yes it's always worth it to me but i love growing anything weed being #1

Thanks for the info! Do you employ any kind of training to your girls or just let them run free? It looks like just minor LST to keep the canopy even and flat and then lollipopping in flower is the way to go (from what I've seen on the main website)

Yes i do after i got them all groomed and removed inside stalks and flimsy stems from inside of plant. If they are photos and strong healthy growing you can remove branches to open up the center. Just don't take off to many at once do it over time. Then I LST them they already have so many shoots an branches almost like they already been topped so find the strong branches use those as focus of tying down.
