    Training the OG Kush

    You folks make it look easy, however when I tried to train using 14 AWG wire....my wire would simply pull out of the coco/perlite from the force of the plant turning back towards the light. I punted and took the easy way out and ordered some 8" garden staples. Using the staples I am able to anchor them into the coco, then using coated wire, gradually pull the branch down.

    Anyway if anybody else is running into this problem, this may help you too.

    Soil grower with coco/perlite mixed in
    indoor/outdoor grower
    1 36"x36"x66" tent- Viparspectra P2500
    1 3x3x6 tent- used in late spring for seedlings both veggies & weed. I have 2 viparspectar 450r for that tent.
    I use a t-5 & 54watt CFL for seedlings
    Sometimes i use plastic sometimes i use fabric grow containers
    Currently using fish/guano during veg growth & FF Grow Big 6-4-4 teens to bloom. Once i see pre-flower i switch to
    Age Old Organics Bloom 5-10-5

      I use a tomato cage, just one hoop cut from the stack. Put this in the pot and tie your wires to the ring. Even these get pulled out so anchor them to the tops of the pots with wire. Click image for larger version

        I like this idea, I may try a variation of it by trying to secure it to the fiber bag using heavy duty paper clips.

      I use 12 ga wire and put a 1/2" V shaped hook on the end. They don't pull out then.
