HELP! Should i do pruning or no as first time grower?

So its my first time growing and i’m on Week 4 right now i believe and i’m thinking about pruning at this point, because the plant is looking very bushy and lots of leaves everywhere. But i’m also afraid i might be cutting off something important so should i even do any pruning at this point or is it even necessary? Thanks

I'd pinch the tippy tip off if it was me at that size.

Can you elaborate what you mean by that?

On the main stem just below the new forming leaves cut the new leaves off. This will force branching and a shorter plant. Some cut half way though the newly forming leaves, leaving it still attached. This is Fiming. I did it once and it a little bit different in how the plant comes out.

What 3 Berries said. Cutting the new shoot will make other tops grow. Make sure to read the tutorials on pruning and the different methods.

If this your first grow SumeaSaukko i would refrain from Fiming or topping and concentrate more on LST and growing a healthy plant. You have a good start, dont complicate things. Bend it over, get some air and light down there. I wouldnt trim anything off yet.
