I got a message yesterday which I replied to in the Visitor section, yet unlike responding to posts, this keeps telling me is still there, its not getting unflagged and keeps telling me I have a new one when I don't. Unless I'm doing something wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong: I get weird messages all the time like, "you can't do this cuz you aren't logged in" when I am logged in; messages I delete from inbox that are still there; etc. Little thrips in the system...Anyone can grow schwag.
