Help. Is this the borg? (spider Mites)

please see attached photos. found 3 leaves with them on so far. they move fast enough to get out of the light that it is hard to get microscope photo. they are on bottom, and there is white stuff on top. dont seem to match perfectly anything on GWE, but I am not sure. Thank. Indoor plants using composted soil and manure from outdoors (Nova Scotia, Canada) that I didnt sterilize. this is on Dr Grinspoon, flowering since 22 Dec. I also found a couple more on White Widow. More research, but if anyone who has seen these has a chance, please let me know? Click image for larger version

A happy Canuk. this grow will be using Flora Flex nutrients in coco/perlite. 9 plants in 3 by 3 tent and 8 plants in 2 by 4, in 1 or 2 gallon pots (whatevere is there). manual fertigation planned. veg till around 1 ft high. 2 by 4 tent light is Bloom Plus 2500 and 3 by 3 tent has Mar Hydro Ts3000, both of which seem awesome.

well. sure looks like what is on GWE to me for spider mites. have a friend who has bugs to help - hopefully. I got lazy (real peronal issues made it tough this time and didnt even clean up the tents. i have another post going if that helps anyone with a diagnosis. only see em on 2 out of 7 plants so far and just today saw em. Christmas Grow - 2 tents = 1 shorter/faster and other taller/longer strains

so. i have had no contact with any other cannabis plant and from an article on GWE it seems there are some non specific strains of spider mites that are easier to fight. nothing in thi grow has had any contact with cannabis from a contaminated frow - Im on my own locally. im up for a fight if it is worthwhile. can experienced grower(s) give opinions on whether to bother fighting? Mine dont look like the 2 spotted ones. still got at minimum 6 to 12 weeks left flowering. I was excited about Dr Grinspoon.

ISO mixed with water (I go 50/50 but can be 1 part ISO to 8 parts water) and spray the under side then the top and soak it good (lights off!), also the floor, wall, pot, everything. This kills only the adults and then their eggs hatch, so you must repeat it every 3 days for at least 3 treatments. Then watch close for the return
One can use spinosad IF the plant is in veg not flower, same instructions (mix per mfg suggestion)
The ISO and water leave only moisture behind (I mix 50/50 so evaporation is faster), spinosad if used outside should be used at dusk (so the honey bees dont get in it).
      Good luck!

thank you. this doesnt sound too bad. I already did a spray on the two affected plants last night, and will do the whole areas today in the super hopes that it works. it seems i caught it early, and maybe that will help a lot. I was concerned about an issue with Nitrogen deficiency and PH, but that I have managed before. upon some thought, My commercial growing buddy suggesting to kill em and re-start is most likely nased on the inability to keep up with so many plants. I will update how it goes.

thanks for comments. upon further contact, research and consideration I am going to give up, kill this grow and re-start. Please see the attached photos. not feeling up for the constant wondering and I am not confident it's worthwhile with still a couple of months left for these bugs that apprently keep coming back.

OK Bootsy man i hate these bumps in the grow. Take your time and wipe out that tent really well. Looking forward to a better start for you, stay strong.

You will still need to clean and spray and clean etc., they seem to come from nowhere and everywhere. They can find your hidden tent faster then a LEO dog.
      Good Luck!

Hey. thanks. I did know that but a remider never hurts. onward. I am using the same composter as my soil base without sterilizing, and think I am tempting fate. fingers crossed.
