Hey all,
I just wanted to share some pictures of my Dinafem Industrial Plant Automatic C.B.D. Probably the easiest plant I ever grew. From seed to finish she took about 75 days. The light schedule was 18/6, soil grown in Fafard potting mix plus extra perlte(20% added), possibly one of the best soilless mixes for the price, no extended release nutrients in it, just micro nutrients. It took forever to find great soil like this without ordering something off of Amazon and paying outrageous shipping charges. I found it at a local greenhouse. I knew they stocked it but it seems to be only available at certain times of the year. It's hard to find soil without all the additional and unnecessary time release nutrients.
Anyhow, she was extremely easy to germinate, grew exceptionally fast and started flowering at about two and a half weeks. A fairly short plant at about 40 cm. Giant fat bud's full of resin, very sticky. Totally grown under CFL'S. Eight 23 watt, half and half, 6500k and 2700k. Two additional side bulbs, 2700k. I have a very nice grow box I've been tweaking over the past three years. My ventilation/exhaust system is a 430 CFM inline fan with a variable speed controller, hooked up to a 200 CFM carbon filter, obviously I only run the fan at half speed maximum to adjust the temperature as needed otherwise I would damage my filter. Plus, I have a small cpu fan just below my bulbs just to disturb the air, I was finding that without the addition of the small fan, the heat from my light's got trapped in my reflector. The cpu fan is also adjustable via a 12 volt adapter so you can get just the right combination between both fan's as the light's are raised and lowered. Rather than pulling the air through my filter I push it with great results, the filter is designed for both pushing or pulling. I just don't have the space in my box.
I used G.H. Flora Series Three and CalMag +. Started with quarter strength, to half, then full. P.H. @ 6.2 using natural spring water. Flushed last two week's. I really recommend carbon filtration with this strain, she is very strong. I own my house and still needed odor control with this one. I've grown countless other strains that you could go without smell reduction tactics, however you never know from strain to strain. I find my system 95% effective, they just stink at light's out. I just set my timer accordingly to my household schedule. I cut and dried until crispy to the touch but still sticky, maybe seven days, then jared them up. One month cure so far, the aroma is amazing, somewhere between citrus, coffee, chocolate and spice. At just under 14% C.B.D and around 5% T.H.C according to Dinafem it should be quite interesting. They reported that this strain is very stable with very little fluctuation between plant's, I trust them after all it's Dinafem were talking about. Haven't tried it yet, however I twisted a fat one for the wife. Last I looked it was still there. I have to get her off the Tylenol and Advil. She surfer's from chronic migraines. So I'm hoping this is the cure.
So there it is, finally my report on the Industrial Plant Automatic C.B.D. I would highly recommend this strain for it's ease of cultivation and overall performance. Large yields, mine was just over three ounce's dried weight under CFL'S. I would imagine an H.P.S. or L.E.D. would be larger. This plant certainly didn't disappoint, koodos to Dinafem. I will let you know about the smoke report/pain relief when appropriate.
Peace,
