    SOIL FFOF mix with HF

Hello all I am about to start my first grow and I am wondering if I need to purchase cal-mag I already have recharge and intend to use that.

Welcome DRock as this is your first, ask yourself; have i really prepared for this? Did I do any reading or research? Nobody can answer your questions without knowing exactly how you are planning to grow. Strain, lights, medium, nutes and on and on.
    Grow # 3 50/50 S/I Critical Mass photo fem

i don't grow plants anymore, I grow soil that my plants can thrive in!

    make pH correction unnecessary

Hi OnDRockGrower. “FFOF” is a pretty common acronym around here, but what do you mean by “HF”?

cal mag is typically not necessary in super soil but it can't hurt to have it around just in case.

FYI that FFOF will run out of nutrients in 3-4 weeks so you better be ready to add nutrients...likely around the transition to flower
I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

Rik , It's Fox Farm Happy Frog blend. It's a bit cheaper without the kelp and crab and shrimp meal, but does contain mycorrhiza, beneficial microbes and humic acids. I use it with equal parts FFOF and perlite with excellent results whether cannabis, fruits, or veggies.
