    CO2

I was wondering if anyone uses CO2 for their girls? Just wondering cause I read an article, basically stating the easiest way to get some CO2 to your girls is to make a drip of Vinegar into baking soda. And then - how much does the co2 help and when to give?

Save your time and money. You don't need co2 for a small grow like ours.

Indeed, seems like it would be fun to try but may not produce enough benefit for the time and cost.

For my co2 system, I got two #20 tanks, a regulator, and a few Titan brand controllers (Kronos 2 and Atlas 1). Everything was a little over $1K.

Ive tried a lot of other products and setups including vinegar and baking soda, and nothing worked. it's not that you won't get any co2, it's just you won't get enough and/or you won't be able to maintain proper ppm levels.

The way I understand it, CO2 is only productive if you have too much light and not enough space to use it in. Once you run out of space, and you have surplus light, then CO2 can be used to increase yield inside those parameters.

There are a lot of CO2 articles out there and the common thread seems to be that the less expensive it is, the less effective it is. Except for visiting your grow room which is free. Visiting your grow room for watering can increase your CO2 level several hundred parts per million. So the more you hang with your plants, the more CO2 they have available to them.
Also CO2 supplementation is not cost effective unless you are running a 'sealed room' grow.

what I have learned so far:
              environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

I tryed the vinigar and bakeing soda trick and it doesn't last very long so u will be in ur grow room refilling that dish of bakeing soda every 10mins, but I did take a 4gal jug hot water 3litters sugar 3cups and yeast 2table spoons and shook it up attached a hose to it and put it on top of one of my candy cane plants and that one did show a bit more growth and strech but maybe 1/8 more growth than the others and that's prob just the ppm of the co2 that's been added. The jug only last a week from what I read on my reserch.

I was looking into the co2 exhale bags and for 30 bucks the bag last 4months and increases a 4x4 tent by 500ppm I'm not an exspet but what iv read is 1200-1500ppm of co2 will improve your growth if every other condistion is perfect

You know what your are paying for the bags, so are they making you a profit on your yield?

Hmm, same price as said above. I'm no experienced grower and see in several different posts; people discouraged from using CO2 before the tent climate is optimal, sealed off and sufficient lightning is given. After the bigger exhaust fan arrived the temp controller got it running on and off so all CO2 isn't constantly pumped out. But I'd guess that I'm atleast cutting my losses

My next grow I'm going to try the exhale co2 bag. It's supose to produce the same co2 ppm of a box of mushrooms spoors that are growing
