    Auto feeding schedule

I'm going into week 5 for my DWC auto. She's on veg nutes. She's showing pistils so she should be switching to flower mode. Will it be okay to switch to bloom nutes on my next res change or should I give another week or so of veg nutes?

I run veg nutes until I see the preflowers, usually a week after flip. But that's photoperiod.... I'm guessing it translates to autoflowers too. I'd wait until you see some flowering to go bloom nutes?

Vegetative nutrients are best for growing stems and leaves, while flowering nutrients help buds fatten up. Most autos will stop growing new leaves and stems altogether around week 6 (though the bigger autos can keep getting bigger for longer). After the plant stops growing up and out, it focuses all its energy on fattening buds! So its good to switch to flowering nutrients by the time the plant is slowing down and growing less new vegetation each day

She's not slowing down yet but I think one more week of veg nutes before flower.

If I was you I'd do another week too. Mine had a growth explosion in coco and both grew about a foot in a week when I waited to switch nute mix

I will not be switching to hydroponics, but I am always impressed by those that do. just getting everything set up properly seems a lot more complicated, then just soil and water. And the systems always look so neat and tidy. Do you have to have a dedicated water line for that kind of system?

No water lines. The buckets are filled with RO nutrient water with air pump line running to the air stone at the bottom. I'm definitely making some upgrades next grow. Maybe I'll have some kind of automated system for reservoir changes. Every time week it's done manually. It's getting more difficult as the girls get bigger.

The DWC system I got has a automated system for empty and fill of your res. I turn a valve on a attached hose and then turn on the watering manifold pump The hose makes emptying easy!. Goes in a small 5 gal bucket on a floor dolly for disposal. I poor the wast water on our cactuses!. After my grow is done, the same system helps out with clean up as well. I plan on cleaning my tent and gear with 1 part Peroxide mixed with 6 parts water. I just mix all in my EMPTY RES. then turn on the pumps!. The disinfecting fluid is pumped throughout the whole system. Then, I will use the REMAINING pre mix disinfectant in the res. and a sponge for tent walls. A CLEAN GROW IS A HAPPY ONE.

Cool , with the 10 gallon tub the roots have lots of room to spread out in your bucket I wouldn't think it has room to grow big? Let me know on your harvest :-)
