SOIL My 2nd grow: The indica experience

Ok so as those that followed my first grow know, I am horrible at finding time for a real grow journal so I'm gonna list all the stats once and after that this'll probably just be a pic journal.

I grow in a 10x10 lung room with two 4x4 grow chambers and a 2x4 clone/mother tent in it. I alternate between stages I the 4x4s so one veg one flower all the time.

My lung room is kept at 75°f, 48%rh.

veg tent is kept at 86°f, 60%rh, 91°f last two weeks of veg with 1500ppm co2. 650ppf provided by 730w full spec led.

Flower tent same thing except co2 is added for first two weeks, and the ppf is kept at 950.

Mother tent lit by 250w full spec led with potentiometer so ppf iis custom according to growth stage.. 75°f, 50%rh no co2.

I grow in promix bx, use fox farm lineup, control str by ec according to stage and always ph so my run off is 6.5.

    Here's the pics 🤪

That's just a awsome looking grow fella really beautiful. Lucky you for all the different chambers, it's a real dream an ease to have that room. I love worm casing LOL

Nice set up. You use promix bx and water it so you have runoff? Do you let it dry out before watering again? When I used promix I had to be careful not to let it stay wet or mold would grow on the surface. Watering until runoff left it so damp that it took forever to dry out.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

I use a bottom layer of perlite and added more to mix. Also recommend cloth pots, plenty air movement top and bottom, and the addition of co2 allows for high Temps. All of that helps with drainage/aeration. Yes I let them dry out. A 10gal pot usually every 4 days I water. I have never had problems with mold in my soil yet. I do also use mosquito bits to help fight it just cause I've never had mold problems with them lol.

Reef, Sour, good to see you folks again! Ty everyone for the likes .

Looks like a nice set up. I'm trying to convince my wife that we need another room to veg in but I screwed up and told her what the first room cost. How do you control temps while running the gas?

I do but she thinks one room grows plenty. I told her trimming 2lbs.a month would be easier than trimming 6lbs.at once.

Lol. If your getting six lbs a harvest from a room, it's already big enough to be divided. I use 15k btu portable ac with insulated duct work to a vent in my sill to control lung room Temps, then cloudline fans to cycle the grows. My equipment is all listed in my first grow. Well most anyway. I've gotten a few new small things. Fans, shop vac, etc. Thanks for the likes guys .

Agromax puruv 54w 2' t5 in each tent. From what I read 5 min was a suggested start but more the problem I think is the distance from how the damage was centered Near the light. Uv is supposed to increase trichome production. In layman's terms its the plants sunscreen.

As you can see UV does burn and it's used to sterilize enviornment. They use it in hospitals now a days to sterilize OR rooms like a " rumba " vacumme. Use with caution.
