Freak midget flowering in less than 30 days. What I did wrong?

I began to germinate this seed 30 days ago (hot summer here). I left it undisturbed in a small pot, in a sunny window and outdoors, with 8 hours of direct sun plus 6-8 hours of CFL. Maybe I kept it in the closet for too long one or two times (visits) or maybe it were some cloudy days, but this freak stopped growing and is already flowering! Flowers are too small for my camera. It is 10 cms (4") high right now. I used only compost & water (and it suffered nutrients burns, yellow tips, apparently). The seed is from a local seed bank (Diamond Genetic), no autoflowering, AFAIK. Can you guess what I got wrong?

Chances are that it is actually an auto. Mixups are quite common.

I can agree first-hand. Nirvana sent me the auto versions of the seeds I ordered. Right after I topped them they started to flower. I left one alone as a test and it started flowering too. Needless to say, they didn't get very big, because I topped them.

I would use a different source for my seeds in the future. Just say'n..

what I have learned so far:
        environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

You could of made the plant switch to flower if u left it in the dark 12 or more hours
