I seem to have lost the good smell. Harvested 6 days ago. Controlled space with minimal light, temp pretty steady at 70 with the RH between 50 and 60%. Drying seems to be going well but more hay smell than skink. Blue dream photo. 12 weeks veg then 5 of 7 were ready at 8 weeks flower (pistils 70 percent color with trichomes mostly cloudy with a few amber) Still have 2 under the light. Any suggestions. I am going through the drying plants and removing branches from the hung plants, trimming some of the fan leaves and rehanging the branches for another day or 2. What can I do to get the blueberry skunk smell I am looking for?

Plants smell like hay the first couple weeks and require a cure to get rid of hay smell. Nothing wrong, just how it goes.

Thanks. Kinda freaking out. Got Mason Jars and Bovedas for the cure. Feeling better now. Thanks again.

They may not smell again until cured and you start to break into a bud. At least that’s when I mostly smell it anymore. The wife says 1/2 the house stinks soon as I crack a jar open but she’s dramatic 😂

If you want to have some prime looking buds that keep their skank scent to show off start hanging a few tops completely untrimmed, once the outer leaves are good and crunchy in 5-6 days put those untrimmed tops into a jar with a Boveda 62 and don’t open it for 2-3 months. Pain in the add to trim but it’ll be top shelf as far as appearance, aroma and flavor profile
