I haven't used either of the 2 you listed so I can't comment on them. But I have used Gaia Green living soil and I wasn't too impressed. I tried a bunch of different soils, currently I'm running Coast of Maine, Stonington blend and I love it. Hands down the best soil I've used.5x5 Gorilla tent

I've haven't been growing long only 4 years, but I like starting seeds in happy frog then transplanting into bottom half ocean forest top half happy frog then final pots all ocean forest. This feeds for about 10 weeks.
Main Ingredients include: Worm Castings, Peat Moss, Perlite, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Langbeinite, Bone Meal, Feather Meal and Crab Meal
Yea that stuff isn't soil, not saying it's bad just not soil.Last edited by GroBuddy; 09-11-2021, 12:52 PM.

Substitute coco coir for the peat moss and you have a grow medium that is IMO superior to "dirt" whatever that is and is moisture retentive, rich in composted organics and minerals and well aerated. No chemical fertilizers added.

I guess I've grown in coco a couple times, personally I didn't care about the extra work. Watering daily or every other day adjusting ph and having to pay for prebuffered coco. I have 2 plastic storage bins full of coco. Personally I much rather prefer good soil. Just plant seed and water when dry and don't have to ph water. I don't use chemicals, I use dry amendments only.
