    Hi Green,

Wow, someday, I hope to get to your understanding.

But I have to ask, is that a fancy, purple colored plastic pot? Just for the contest? Not your standard grey smart pot, or is this a top secret type of new pot?

I had to use this pot because I pull her out of my tent when the light goes out on my photo plants...I put her under cfls which some have to be clipped on the side of the pot..the fabric would not allow me to do that...it is a cool pot though..it came with an extra inside bottom filled with holes for air and drainage...I drilled out more holes on bottom and bottom sides...and in the middle of pot....I get great drainage and she's ready for more in three days..

An amazing plant armature you have developed Greenie. Really unique and will take a look-see on milk concept which is wayyyyy over my head. Eager it investigate.
i STILL rather ( I can say right ?) wish see that / those plants in Smart pots. I know Orchids ( phalaenopsis) don't like terra cotta but like plastic well vented but really like netty pots- thrive in them even. Apples and marbles...Are your fabric pots for your photos?

    Hi Green,

Quick question, I noticed when you top your girls you also remove all the growth underneath, just wondering why. Also was thinking about the stress factor, topping and cutting all the other leaves off at the same time, I know it can be done because you do it all the time, but for my first time I'm just a little gun shy. So can I top, today, and then a few days later remove everything below, or is the one shot deal part of a bigger and better system? Thanks for your input.

I like to do it differently all the time..all depends on the plant..if she's a bit slow on growth I'll take off under what node I want to try to stimulate faster growth..then a day or two later I will top to my desired node..if plant is vigorous from start I will make all cuts to the body in one day.....just pay attention to them...they will let you know when they're ready

I take all growth off underneath cause I make a trunk line..

This solo grow..just topped at fourth and let her go...kept her lollipopped so she would push energy to the tops..

If you google it you'll find some interessting articles. It sais raw milk is the best so everyone should go ahead and get a cow

    #69
Ya raw milk is best because once u pasturize it, it cooks a lot of the nutrients out but not all of them.

Seems it would get rotten and stink like crazy! Has anyone done it with skim milk? It's all I use.

It feeds the microbes in the soil and helps with nutrient uptake. Plus the sugars in it aren't digestible by soft bodied insects. Healthy soil makes for a healthy plant
