HELP! Leaves turning yellow and odd curling

    Description of the Problem
    • Northern Lights auto germinated quickly and looked good once leaves started to pop out.
    • After first watering (plain PHd water) yellow leaf coloring on half the plant.
    • I continued feeding, added supplements, and the yellow is spreading.
    • The plant is definitely growing, but the yellow is concerning.
    • The Jack Herer Auto in the tent with the same feed schedule is looking beautiful.
    Pictures

    RH: 45-55%
    Temperature: 75-79 F
    Water temp when feeding: ~ 71-74 F
    PH when feeding: 5.8-6.2
Approximate Light distance to plants: 20-24"

    • Seedsman Northern Lights Auto
    • Seedsman Jack Herer Auto
    Nutrients
    • General Hydro FloraTrio (the kit is a bit old, maybe this is problematic?)
    • CalMag
    • Floralicious Plus

    Feeding Schedule
    • Week 1
      • July 20 - germinated seedlings planted into 3 Gallon fabric pots. (Roots were over 1/2" long each)
        • July 25 - Plain PHd water first week of seed/germ
    • Week 2
      • July 29
        • 1 gallon PHd water with nutes split between both plants. Week 2 feed from GWE. Jack looks good. Northern Lights has a yellow spot and one leaf curling up around the edges.
      • July 31
        • 1 gallon plain PHd water split between pots.
      • August 3
        • 1 gallon PHd water with nute split between both plants.
        • 2.5ml Micro and Gro
        • .6ml Bloom
        • .75ml Floralicious Plus
        • 3.5ml CalMag
    • Week 3
      • August 5
        • 1 gallon PHd water with nute split between both plants.
        • 2.25ml Micro and Gro
        • 1ml Bloom
        • .75ml Floralicious Plus
        • 3.5ml CalMag

If there's anything else I forgot please ask!

It looks like an Iron deficiency, but I read that can usually start from the middle of the leaf and doesn't really explain the weird curling.

I won't click links from people I don't know on here, especially on someone's first post. No offense to the OP.

I didn't think about opening links compromising my security It does make sense but then don't we compromise by clinking any link online? So you roll the dice but remember there are wierdos everywhere!

I don't think you have a problem at this point as leaf discoloring on an other wise healthy leaf does happen on plants at this age. I see a little leaf curl which could be high nitro and one brown spot on 2 leaves on 2 plants which is often a pH imbalance. How confident are you of your pH levels. 5.8 to 6.2 is perfect in that coco mix so I think you've done your homework but if not accurate there will be problems. With a little work and time they will grow out of it.

There is a chance it is genetic as well. I’ve seen pics of leaves like that on lists of genetic abnormalities. No worries if that is what it turns out to be, more of an interesting peculiarity.

Thanks for the replies. I thought I might be short nitro so I was adding supplements. I’ll try to keep it level as they grow.

For those of you talking about the link, right click it, click copy link address. Then you can see where I was sending you is Imgur.com, the image hosting site that GWE recommends we use.

Edit to add: also, clicking on a link that looks like the right address could still lead you astray. Always right click and copy the link address to be sure. You can paste it anywhere and see where the link would take you.

Just to be sure you saw my info incorrectly, it's high nitro not short nitro. See the plant doctor tutorial on site

Yea I got you. I originally thought it was low nitro but it seems I may have had a little too much.

Seems early to use floralicious. Perhaps it's nitrogen burn?
