Can someone tell me how to fix nute lock out

    #2
pH between 5.5 and 6.5 in hydro. That doesnt look like nute lock out, it looks like root rot or not enough dissolved 02 in res.

Howdy Shag129, If it is nutrient lockout or the pH range is out, they both may be fixed by draining the water from the reservoir a replenishing it with plain pH balanced water at 6.0 +/- 0.5. Let that stand for two to three days and then drain and refill with the nutrient solution. Be sure to test the pH pen/meter before doing this. I always pH balance the water to 6.0, then I add the nutrients and supplements and the test and balance the mix again to 6.0 +/- 0.5. I do not use a pH pen as they are prone to bad readings and failure, I use dual panel pH litmus strips to test My water and nutriment mix pH.
