My current lonely girl grow is a photo GG4 from Paul. Seed was about to years old though.
Good luck with your new grow room!

Awesome, I appreciate the feed back. I read that the buds get super sticky and that they have a pretty hight THC content. Around 22% to 26%. That's pretty good in my book.

Yes I have grown those from Paul. Mine were smaller plants did alot of training and i only vegged 6wks on them man i still have half a jar of it and it is so oily the joints go out LOL. I took clones from the tent ones and have one outdoors going, then trimming extra bud site on that one made 2 more clones for a tent grow come fall. I may have to off load those clones and others i could'nt control my clone making. But yes those are really good beans.

Electric is finally done. All new circuits run and tied into the breaker box. Any extra breakers will require a sub panel. Mines full!
Today I started insulation. Put R15 into all the walls and this weekend I'll be putting in R30 into the ceiling. After that I just need to sheetrock the backsides of the walls and the ceiling, hang lights, install exhaust fan and filter. Almost there...
I put in an order for new seeds for my first run in the room. I ordered Gorilla Glue #4(photos) from 420newguyseeds. Can't wait to finish this room up and get those beans in the ground!
Anyone have any experience with GG#4 from 420newguyseeds?

Luckily I still have 4 spots open. I've used the double pole single slot breakers on of my jobs a few months back. They work great in rehabs.

If you get into your breaker box and find you don't have a slot to add another breaker I found way round this that meets my local electrical codes. Menards sells a double pole single slot breaker. I used these to add circuits when renovating the house my kids in and I used them to add the circuits for grow related updates here. I also ran each circuit related to my growing though a GFI outlet since I do hydro and 1 outlet is on opposite of pole that is behind the faucets on sink.

Yeah, logging and milling were pretty much at a halt for a year so it will take awhile for the entire supply chain to ramp back up but you're right, it will never come back down to previous levels. Look at beef...10 - 12 bucks a lb for cheap cuts. Hamburger 25% fat for 7 bucks! Whats for dinner? Veggie burgers, oh boy!

The lumber prices are out of freaking control! $25 would get you two and a half 2x4s in my neck of the woods. Lol I really hope to see the prices go back down but I'm not very optimistic. I lost at least a half a dozen large contracts this year. Homeowners thought we (contractors) were price gouging. These prices are gonna put alot of good contractor's out of business.

Yeah I figured as much, that's why I tip toed up to the subject rather than just blast you, lol ! It was the 12 amp thing that tripped my breaker! And I thought you were challenged by the electrical. What you have now is overkill but that's fine.

I went to HD a couple weeks ago for a dozen 2x4x8' thinking i'd spend $25. I walked out when I saw the total price over a hundred bucks. Screw that, I'll finish my project next year maybe if at all now.

It's all good. Ive been building house for the past 21 years. Everything I'm doing is to code. Overkill actually. I just went back and read my last post and realized i messed up what I was trying to say.. Im running 2 20amp circuits with 12g wire. 2 outlets per circuit, both will have a GFCI. One for each of the grow lights. The regular lights will be on an existing 15amp circuit. The exterior walls have 2 existing outlets on a dedicated 15amp breaker. More than enough power/amperage for my needs.
The rest of finished basement will act as a lung room. I do have plans on putting up one more wall and adding a second room. More than likely that will be a winter project.

Hey I noticed you are a contractor. General or trade if I may ask? If you say electrical I have to go delete my post down below real quick. I was questioning your electrical knowledge, lol ! Better safe than sorry I guess
