It wasn't until I was reading my emails and I went back to my last email from this site which is super loaded with so much information and then I finally made the connection as to who I think you are now... Are you one of those people or thee one who is writing all these articles I've been pouring through since I found this site? I've got a message for those people if you can pass it along...
Since I discovered this site for one of those articles, I got so deep into what I was reading I had kept clicking on another link for another article to read when I finished the one I was one, a few days passed and I had my browser loaded with articles from your site and no matter how many of them I read through I still kept finding up to date detailed information, and in such quantity I was frankly blown away. This truly is a very well put together site by everyone involved and the work is simply top notch from everything I've seen and read, I speak to others very highly of your website. You are truly a cut above the rest, and in the ever rapidly changing cannabis industry as it continues to roll out on so many levels for so many of us, it is truly nice to have found a top notch site dedicated to putting all the information to be the best grower ever all into one single place for everyone to have access to. The weekly emails that come to my email are simply hands down worth every bit of time I spend reading it, and re-reading it a few more times to absorb it all, very well done and put together.

They look great! As far as when to switch to the flowering stage, it's generally recommended to switch to 12/12 when the plants are about half the final desired height, since they'll usually about double in size after the flip. So if you have room for them to be two feet tall in the end, you would switch to 12/12 when they are about a foot tall. Some strains stretch more than others after the flip, but that's a good general rule of thumb

Can you say from the pictures if they're indica or sativa dom? Maby hard to tell when using both 2700 and 6500k lights together makes it tighter like indica?
-
It's hard to say for sure at such a young age, but they don't look particularly stretchy like a Sativa usually does, so I would be surprised if they more than doubled in height

Thank you Still got about 6 feet to the roof, but its the floor area and timeframe that restricts plant size. Was thinking of replanting to 2.5 instead of 4 and flipping as soon as the roots have established a good system. Found some 7 "x 7" x 17" pots, quite tall and deep yet not taking up much floor space but looks a bit silly tho

It should also be noted that the plants should be at least 2-months old before putting them into flower, when you start a plant from a seed. This doesn't apply to clones, because the mother plant is commonly 2-months old or older so when you take a clone it's the same age as the mother plant so once it has roots and gets going you can flip it to flower as some do. Otherwise as it was pointed out you want the plant half the height you plan to have them at when you flower them. If you try to flower a plant before it is 2-months or more mature it can refuse to go into flower because its not mature enough to yet. Hope that helps. The only way to become the a good at anything is to read about it and learn all you can about it, and if it's something you love why not become an expert in it? The best place for anyone to start is at the beginning and make sure we didn't overlook anything, so let's go back to the basics.

I see, got it all sealed off so no lightleaks will delay flowering, used the techniqe u describe earlyer : ) Can you see from the pictures if its ind/sativa? Would love to give them as much time as possible before going 12/12. My untrained eye says indica and hoping it is. The name of that book would be awesome if you could share Greenthumb, as im hooked on cannacultivaton and the knowlege that follows

To be honest I have to rely on a lot of what the books tell me on this answer... but they say most strains out there nowadays are going to be a hybrid mix of India and Sativa, that is why these big breeders go out and scour the world over looking for the true pure Indica and Sativa's to try to bred out new strains because there is so many hybrids out there. All I know is that when looking for seeds I do see a lot of hybrid mixes and it has been harder to find a pure India or Sativa seed... When you plants are bigger it will be easier to tell based off their structure.

Strainhunters on youtube explain aswell what you describe here Greenthumb. What an effort they put in to find pure cannabis. Even the primordial strains are watered out by commercial seeds in the wild.
Will post some pictures later and see if its possible to determine some dominant features.
Thanks to everyone contributing here, learned allot this week

Make sure to let your young marijuana plants get a minimum 2-3 weeks in the vegetative stage before changing them over to flowering. Your plants will be healthier and will start flowering at the same time as if you started 12-12 from when they first sprout.

It could be a plant herming against itself, or perhaps the seller/grower was breeding feminized auto-flowering seeds and some of the pollen got on a bud that was set for the market. Either way, that's awesome it ended up working out with a bunch of free auto-flowering seeds! It's great you realized what was happening so you could take advantage of it. I can imagine a grower heavily training their plants only to realize too late that they were flowering!

Ahh yea that scenario sounds much better Thank you for your kind words but can't take credit for realizing and taking advantage of the situation. With the Sea of Green method it's not common doing heavy training or any at all. All this good fortune with these plants, probably ballanced by a persistent bad luck with love.
