    HELP! Broken stem

Do you think it can recover or is it not even worth wasting time?

    #2
For sure, tape it up and let it recover. The big fan leaves may not make it, but the stem and little leaves should recover. I once made an "ops" cut on a stem like that. Hanging on by a thread. Put it back together with tape and that little thread grew into a big repair knot in the stem and it went on to produce flowers.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

I don’t recommend tape. Prevents the injury from getting air and too easy to damage again when removing. Use plant ties. Make a strong brace/support to hold it in place and in about a week it’ll be fine

Whatever you choose to use, bind it up and most likely it will survive. Thais has happened to all of us.

I used blue painting tape, closest thing at hand. A little bit of air got in from the top, I cut it off with trim scissors later.

I just let them hang there, they either die or grow, most choose to grow.

I like to tie it together with soft twist tie and a dab of super glue. Hope I don't have to do it again

Just tape it. I have done it plenty of times. Just leave the tape on the wound it will break on it’s own, has been the case for me when the stem gets rhicker
