    Need help diagnosing issue

I need a little help with this girl. I have two seeds man strawberry cheesecake autos growing in hydro. One is fine, but the other has given me problems since week 3-4 with nute burn and just being sensitive in general. I’ve got some brown spots going on now, along with leaves curling down. Everything I’ve tried has made little to no difference. Ive monitored PH and PPM. PH is kept at 5.8 or as close to it as possible. If PPM rises, I dilute solution. I’m using ice packs and hydro guard to fight temps. I have a 4’x7’ tent with a 440 cfm exhaust fan and a large house fan to move air around.

Following the grow chart found here on this site (attached)
temps are high in my tent, and unfortunately there’s not much I can do. Lights on temp is average 81-85 with 50% humidity.

the plant next to her seems fine.

I've attached some pics. Please feel free to comment and let me know if any of you see issues with either plant or the set up in general. This is my first grow.

You need to let the pH rise and fall within the 5.5-6.5 range otherwise you lock out some nutrients all the time.

      This will really help you
      understand it much better.

Masshysteria, I agree with Catfish22, You need to allow the pH to range from 5.5 to 6.5 as the different nutriments are taken up best but the plant at different pH levels. In my experience, 'chasing' the pH up and down to maintain a fixed number will lead to plant problems and can kill off the plants.

Agree with DW2 and Catfish22 and will add (as I always do after learning the hard way) that you absolutely need to regularly calibrate you pH meter (if you are not already). It may not be what you think it is.

Thanks for the response. I’ll check out the info and give it a try

I've also noticed burnt tips which usually indicate nutrient burn, your leaves are dark green which makes me think you feed Nitrogen in flower which is not needed. Might be wong but maybe you are feeding too much or wrong nutes

Edit: my bad , did not read the whole description

Yeah, I’ve had problems with her burning since week 3 of veg. I’m feeding flora trio using the schedule that I posted in the original post. Still feeding a small amount of the grow nutrient as per the chart, but no added nitrogen. I’m amazed at the size of the buds on her for week 4, and the genetics of the plant appear to be great. I’m just a little disappointed with the ongoing problems, and want to try to resolve them before it’s too late. I’ve done so much searching that my eyes hurt. My problem is I’m inexperienced and so many of these nutrient deficiencies/abundances/PH problems look the same when it comes to symptoms. It would be a shame to see this one go downhill. I think I might change the res and add micro and bloom only. I’ll also allow the PH to swing from now on, and try not to be so strict with keeping at 5.8.

I deffinently understand your concerns. defficiencies and toxicity can really fool you. Plant looks really good and Im sure you will finish blooming and I understand you want to give 110% you can. Good luck hope everything is gonna be fine
