My best guess is genetics. Like GreenAlchemist said some strains start to turn purple as they get older. I've had some start off super light green and finish straight up purple.

What have the temps been like lately?

I personally wouldn’t worry as it seems (to me) to be genetics. Some strains turn purple as they flip to flower, but I would keep an eye on it for sure.
