    Aaarrrghhh!

Talk about a screw up! I usually water my seedlings with bottled "spring" water. Went to do my watering and picked a bottle off the shelf. Two days later my seedlings are on the way to the compost pile. Turns out I watered them with flavored seltzer water. I am trying like a dog to help them recover but, I just don't know. They were already growing quite slowly. Moral of this story; if you learned how to read, do it.

I want to say sorry and be very supportive but that is a really funny story 😀

It would have been even better if your plants decided they liked seltzer and you’d just found the new secret to a giant harvest!

Thinking about it a little more - seltzer drinks are high in sodium most of the time - if it is the sodium that is playing havoc with your plants (salting the earth as they say) it might be that a standard off the shelf flush solution designed to wash away fertilizer salts might get rid of any remaining traces of the sodium and then you can re-water with a normal fertilizer solution afterwards to get the nutrients back in the picture. I think you are using soil, which means you will wash away your organic nutrients (I assume you have organic soil/super soil with composts etc) and may have to continue with standard nutes for the grow (I don’t know enough about the science to say that with certainty though). It was just a thought. Hope you are able to recover them!
