Hey guys, new grower here. Noticed tips on some leaves are starting to discolor. Also noticed some of the sides of leaves are curling upwards almost like into a taco. I think I know what it is, but looking for some second opinions. I watered last night with just RO water, cal/mag, and silica blast. Water ph was at 6.2 and PPM at around 300. Runoff was about 6.5ph. PPM at about 1700 which I’m clueless as to how it’s gotten so high.
Is the PPM level the culprit? Meaning nute burn? If so, should I do a flush next time it needs watering? And would this cause the sides of leaves to curl upward?
She seems fine even though PPM is way high. No drooping anywhere. Not too sure if flushing it not would make the situation worse since I just watered last night. Here’s some info on setup:
2x2 tent
Kind XL450 (hung above canopy about 18”)
(2x) 6” oscillating fans
4” in-line fan with filter
5 gallon smart pot filled with FF Happy Frog mixed with 40% perlite.
Plus I have an a/c venting inside as it gets pretty hot without.
Temps range from 74-76 and humidity ranges from 30-60%. Reason for range on humidity is because of a/c. It constantly changes every 15 minutes when it’s cooling down and shutting off. Unfortunately I can’t fix this. The only thing I can do about humidity is drop it more.
