I'm growing Super Skunk autoflower from ILGM in 3 gallon pots, outdoors, in a blend of Coast of Maine Platinum Grower's Blend. During veg, the girls are fed pH'd water to 6.0-6.5 with FF Grow Big, Grower's Recharge (a mitochondria support blend), and near 3 weeks, add in some seaweed concentrate. Once they flower, they get Big Bloom with Incredible Bulk, compost tea concentrate, seaweed concentrate, and every couple of weeks, Grower's Recharge.
This plant is about 68 days old and has very little trichome production. It is Super Skunk autoflower from ILGM. I started another Super Skunk plant from ILGM at the same time that has frosted up quite nicely eating the exact same diet as its sister.
Why would there be such a difference in trichome production if growing conditions and nutrition are exactly the same? My guess is genetics? It's interestinng how two sisters from the same batch of seeds can look so different, have such different shapes, growth habits, etc.
Would love any advice on why this might be happening, if it will affect the smoke quality, and what to do to avoid this in the future. Thank you!
