The point of scrogging is to get the entire tent filled with leaves, so where should I put my humidifier? Im planning for the future so any ideas you have would be nice!

Can you put it outside the tent? I have my humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier all at various locations pretty far away from my tent.

I keep a small dehumidifier in the center of my tent during flower but it’s the air in your grow room that’s going into the grow tent you need to control like Rik said. The air inside the grow tent itself is being circulated out so fast by the exhaust it’s really wasted energy doing it from within.
You can get adapters that plug directly into a outlet and they add more outlets to plug into. Just stay within specs with your wattageLast edited by bboyfromwayback; 05-18-2021, 07:26 PM.

I realize it's heretical but I put my cold-steam humidifier right in the room with my plants such that the rotating fans waft that humid cloud right into the plants.
I'm a bit manic about controlling the Vapor Pressure Deficit and keeping the steam close with good air circulation seems to work. Same deal with the humidifier, A/C & radiator. Probably should clarify that, like panalilies, I have a pretty big grow room, not a tent.
Not too wet and not too dry, not too hot & not too cold = happy plants! My goal is epicurean quality rather than high yield.
I'm learning how to create cannabis tinctures and hashish and I almost always use a vaporizer to spare my aging lungs.
Despite my avatar name I'm generally amenable and helpful. So, if there's a question I'm qualified to answer, hit me up!

But panalilies mentions in the original post that he/she is using a tent. I agree that if you have an entire grow room, you can put your humidifier and dehumidifier right in the same room, as long as it’s big enough. But, like bboyfromwayback mentioned, if you have a tent, the air is being recirculated too quickly to have your equipment right in the tent and be maximally effective, at least it should be if you have good air flow in and out of your tent.Last edited by Rik; 05-19-2021, 08:54 AM.

I could *maybe* put the humidifier in a different part of the room, but its not well-sealed so IDK if the humidity would stay in the room or not. I only have 2 plants when my tent can do like 6-8, so I may have enough room during veg for it, Im unsure. I didnt eve use a humidifier for my first grow and it turned out a-okay. There is only one plug, the door to the room is like a shutter so anything can escape, and its located under the stairs for my front door way so there is a small draft due to it not being built correctly.
